Inspiration

The inspiration for this edition was the thought in its earliest stage, emerging from the abyss and ultimately taking shape, transforming into something more concrete, much like the act of writing, which begins with an idea put to paper and evolves into something greater.


Design & Materials

The latest FLOW editions introduce glossy resin to the collection for the first time while preserving the signature 24-faceted design that defines the line. Originally conceived to balance ergonomics and comfort, the faceted profile now interacts with light in new ways, giving the pen a constantly changing appearance. 



Compared to ebonite, the glossy resin offers a smoother feel and a more reflective finish. SCRIBO has also subtly refined the design by extending the base by 2.5 mm, creating a more harmonious transition between the barrel and cap.

FLOW Origine is finished in glossy pastel black, inspired by the colour of ink, while FLOW Evoluzione features a mother-of-pearl green resin that reveals shifting tones and reflections as it catches the light.


Writing Experience & Collectibility

Like every SCRIBO fountain pen, the FLOW Origine and FLOW Evoluzione are designed with the writing experience in mind. At the heart of each pen is the brand's handcrafted 18k gold nib, available in a wide range of sizes – including its 14k Flexible nib options – to suit various writing styles. The nib is paired with an ebonite feed designed to maintain a consistent ink flow, even during longer writing sessions.

Enthusiasts and collectors looking to secure one of the two editions should keep in mind that production is limited to 140 pieces for the FLOW Origine and just 90 pieces for the FLOW Evoluzione. Once sold out, neither edition will be produced again.
