Inspiration

The edition is inspired by the famous arcade game released in 1980 by Namco. Built around a simple yet addictive concept – navigating a maze while evading colorful ghosts and collecting bonus fruits – the game transcended generations and established itself as a true pop-culture icon.

Design & Materials

The new Montegrappa reinterprets the game's legendary universe, translating its playful energy through sterling silver, sapphires, diamonds, and enamel.

A sterling silver chassis with a ruthenium gunmetal finish becomes the canvas for the game's iconic characters. Here, a ghost is recreated on the cap through an intricate pavé of blue sapphires, topazes, and diamonds, with the maze and bonus fruits rendered in enamel. PAC-MAN is recreated on the cap’s finial in a pavé of yellow sapphires while, diametrically opposite, on the end of the feed cone, each edition is engraved. A pixel-patterned grip section leads the eye to the 18k gold nib, finely engraved with Pac-Man.

Writing Experience

With enough gemstones to enter high-jewelry territory, and enough ink capacity to sustain a generous writing session, the new Limited Edition celebrates the moment when tension becomes clarity and strategy turns into conquest – not a challenge against time, but against oneself. Available as a fountain pen and rollerball, limited to only 8 pieces per variant worldwide.
