Montegrappa’s journey through Greek epic continues with a handcrafted creation inspired by the most dramatic chapter of Odysseus’ voyage. Created using the lost-wax casting technique, it reflects the strength and balance of the Doric order through precious metals and traditional craftsmanship. A sterling silver figure of Poseidon stands as the central element, while vermeil wave motifs and finely sculpted bas-reliefs narrate the hero’s journey across the barrel. The cap reproduces the essential proportions of Doric architecture and is finished with a refined mother-of-pearl abacus. The collection is presented in a display inspired by Odysseus’ ship and is limited to 266 fountain pens and rollerballs, a number referencing the isopsephic value of the Greek word "Ελλάς"(Greece).
