King of Pen Noh 'Shakkyo' Le Maki-e By Isshu Tamura Fountain Pen

Inspired by Shakkyo, a Noh performance set on the Stone Bridge of Qingliang Mountain. A lion spirit dances among peonies, symbols of strength and beauty. The maki-e decoration renders the scene with control and depth, giving the pen a calm, balanced presence in hand.

Presented in a Hakone marquetry box, made using an Edo-period wood inlay technique with precise geometric patterns.
