Meisterstück Around the World in 80 Days Doué Blue Classique Fountain Pen

The Meisterstück Around the World in 80 Days collection is inspired by Jules Verne's novel. The Solitaire Doué Classique Fountain Pen has a dark blue lacquer barrel and a metal cap. It tells the story of Mr. Fogg and Passepartout on their final trip from Yokohama to London, crossing the U.S. by train.

The cap shows a laser-etched train and smoke, plus pressure valves. The cone has a safety chain pattern, recalling the moment Passepartout uncouples the train to save the crew from a Sioux attack. The clip has a red heart symbol, pointing to Fogg’s bond with Princess Aouda. Card suits on the pen stand for the bet Fogg made to travel the world in 80 days.

On top of the cap is a timeline: 36 days from Yokohama to London, finishing the full 80-day trip. The 18K gold nib has the dates 14/11 and 21/12 – Fogg's departure from Yokohama and planned return to London. It also shows a hot air balloon, a nod to Verne’s first adventure novel.
