Meisterstück Around the World in 80 Days Midsize Ballpoint

The Meisterstück Around the World in 80 Days collection is inspired by Jules Verne’s novel. The LeGrand Ballpoint, in dark blue resin, tells part of the journey of Mr. Fogg and Passepartout.

This part covers their trip from Yokohama to London, through the U.S., by train. A train is engraved on the cap. The cone has a chain pattern, recalling when Passepartout uncouples the train to protect the crew during a Sioux attack.

The cap shows pressure valves and smoke from the engine. The clip has a red heart symbol, tied to the bond between Fogg and Aouda. The card suits also refer to Fogg’s bet to finish the trip in 80 days.

On top of the cap, the timeline is engraved: 36 days from Yokohama to London, and 80 days for the full journey.
