The PIUMA Corniola takes its character from carnelian, a stone whose warm red tones have carried symbolic meaning since antiquity. Its name derives from the Latin carnis, recalling the colour of flesh, while in ancient Rome it was valued for seals, as wax does not adhere to its surface. This spirit is translated into handmade resin, with a veined appearance inspired by natural stone and a warm, lively depth of colour. Platinum-finished details bring a quiet contrast to the material. Limited to 219 pieces, the pen is fitted with a cartridge/converter filling system and offered with 18kt gold nibs from EEF to BB, or 14kt flexible nibs from EF to Broad.
