Yukari Yozakura Raden Fountain Pen

The Namiki Yukari Yozakura Raden fountain pen takes its inspiration from Yozakura, the Japanese tradition of viewing cherry blossoms at night. Part of the springtime hanami celebrations, Yozakura offers a different perspective on flower viewing, with cherry blossoms illuminated by lamplight, creating a serene and intimate atmosphere.

The pen features a metal body decorated with Raden (mother-of-pearl) sakura petals floating against a night-inspired setting. The design is further enhanced by Togidashi Maki-e (burnished Maki-e), a technique that uses Hira Maki-e as its base, followed by layers of urushi that are carefully burnished with charcoal.
